Is healthcare insurance mandatory in our international employee locations?
Local legislation and regulations regarding healthcare insurance will depend on the locations that you operate in. In addition to meeting any relevant local regulations, adequate and compliant international benefits arrangements help meet your duty of care to protect overseas employees.
What is the standard international benefits package offered in our overseas locations?
A ‘one size fits all’ does not exist and every situation is different. Cover can include elements such as primary care, planned treatment, emergency treatments, chronic and congenital conditions, evacuation & repatriation, dental and maternity care. However, terms and conditions vary significantly between plans and any applicable local regulatory obligations must be considered. An effective international benefits solution involves a detailed fact find to understand your specific needs and make a tailored recommendation.
Will our expatriates be able to access a suitable standard of hospitals overseas?
The standard of healthcare facilities can vary from country to country. There are options available to ensure pre-existing conditions are covered however they may be subject to medical questions being satisfied.
