Jelf & Clark Thomson
Jelf was founded in 1989. In 2015 it became part of Marsh & McLennan Companies who merged the organisation with Bluefin to form one of the biggest UK insurance brokers. In 2018 Clark Thomson joined the family to form Jelf Clark Thomson.
Proud of our heritage in Stirling
In 2011 Regional Insurance Group opened OKD Insurance Brokers Ltd in Stirling by bringing in a team of local experts in their field. John Cooper and Geoff Campbell not only had the industry knowledge but a full understanding of the local market, having lived and worked in the area all of their lives. We moved to Barton Street, when we purchased Kaymac Insurance in July 2013 and opened an additional office in Falkirk on 10th February 2014, bringing in more local teams from a local competitor who had recently closed their doors. In 2012, Regional Insurance Group acquired Ferguson Oliver Insurance Brokers in Forfar (previously Forfar Insurance Brokers). Again the focus was to ensure that we had a local team, dealing with local people and that continues to be the case today. Joining the Bluefin group in 2014 helped to increase our capabilities and has allowed us to offer even more services to our clients.
