Jelf & Clark Thomson
By bringing together Jelf and Clark Thomson we become both Scotland and the UK’s leading community broker and client advisory business. Working together we will continue our journey to build and shape an exceptional business for our colleagues, clients and communities.
Proud of our heritage in Elgin
Our Elgin branch was borne out of the marriage of two long established brokerages; Crammond Insurance Consultants Ltd first opened its doors in 1983, and George S Hay & Co was founded in Elgin in 1968. Clark Thomson purchased both businesses in 2009, and in 2015 we came together at our new office to build on the accomplishments of previous.
Now in 2018, and part of Jelf, we are in a stronger position than ever. Our clients can now benefit from significantly expanded insurance, risk management and employee benefits offerings.
We offer specialist risk management advice for businesses across all industry sectors. We work with you to identify risks, and ensure that you are prepared for the challenges your business faces.
We can help you to deliver a wellness strategy for your business that finds the right balance of employee benefits to maximise the physical, emotional and financial wellbeing of your employees.
Jelf to Acquire Clark Thomson, Scotland’s largest independent insurance broker. Acquisition consolidates Jelf’s position as leading community broker in Scotland.
An important update on Scottish Income Tax that has potential to impact pension contributions, tax relief and salary exchange.
