Chipping Sodbury is the location of Jelf's head office, based in the market town of Chipping Sodbury in South Gloucestershire. The Jelf Group was founded in 1989 by Christopher Jelf and had offices in Soundwell and Speedwell before moving to the Group's current head office in 1998. After 15 years of expansion, Jelf floated on the stock market in 2004. Jelf acquired John Lampier & Co in 2007 to create the largest Bristol-based insurance broker. Since then we've joined forces with colleagues in Bluefin, to form one of the largest trading centres in the South West.
