Jelf 'pull' together to support Yorkshire charities
On 13 and 14 May 2019, the Yorkshire Charity Clay Day celebrated its 20th anniversary at the iconic Duncombe Park in North Yorkshire. This highly prestigious event comprised of clay shooting over 6 drives in the stunning grounds of the park. Jelf were sponsors this year amongst other brands such as Rolls Royce, Musto, Bentley and Aston Martin.
The Private Clients team were on hand to greet guests with refreshments and a relaxing space to soak up the glorious sunshine whilst spectating the competition. Following the day, lunch was served along with an auction. This year’s live auction was hosted by Bargain Hunt’s, Charles Hanson. The day was rounded off by a display from the Red Devils who landed just in front of the main marquee.
The event was a great success with around 300 guests attending. Commenting on the event, Hannah Bell, Private Client Development Director at Jelf, said “The event raised in excess of £400,000, so all in all a great couple of days! I would like to say thank you to everyone that has been involved, it was a great team effort.”
All proceeds from the event went towards six nominated charities for 2019, who will no doubt benefit from these generous contributions.
