Launch of the Local Business Charity Awards (Oxford)

Following a hugely successful launch event in 2018, the awards have returned to recognise the support given by Oxfordshire businesses and individuals to local charities. This year, the 2018 winners of the Jelf Award, The Oxford Mail, are also lending their support as official media partners.

There are three award categories to enter:

The Jelf Award

Entries can be made by Oxford charities (with an annual income of more than £200,000 a year) nominating an Oxfordshire business that supports them. If the company nominated wins, the charity will receive a prize of £1,000.

The A-Plan Award

Entries can be made by Oxford charities (with an annual income of less than £200,000 a year) nominating an Oxfordshire business that supports them. If the company nominated wins, the charity will receive a prize of £1,000.

The Individual Award

Entries will be accepted from any Oxford charity, nominating a person for their personal dedication and contribution to that charity. The prize is a £300 weekend away.

How to enter

The awards are now open for entries; entry to the awards is free and the closing date is Friday 21 June 2019 with the awards finals on Thursday 29 August 2019.
