We're coming to Bath Business Expo

The preparations for the Bath Business Expo on the 21st March at The Assembly Rooms, Bath are continuing at a pace, with new seminars announced.

Event details

The Bath Business Expo is all about helping small & medium sized established businesses and locally-based corporates, Start-ups and Pre-Start-ups to get networked and better known in the regional business community (Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset), also aims to inspire business growth with a comprehensive free business seminar programme.

Seminars 

A large programme of business expert seminars and business workshops will be free to attend.

The seminar programme already has highlights such as an interview with Olympian Sharon Davies MBE, and a talk by Wessex Water on Sustainability in business. Recent additions to the programme include a talk by local (Frome) Marketing firm TBT on Content Marketing, a talk about taking on Apprentices by Bath College, and a talk on ‘how to keep customers for longer, increase their spend and generate more referrals’ by Daniel Plowright and a talk on ‘Networking that actually works’ by Networking expert Philippa Constable.

Networking

Network informally with fellow business people from Bath and the surrounding regions. Pick the style of networking you prefer:

  • Breakfast networking
  • Open networking
  • Coffee break networking
  • Networking with fellow stand holders
  • Speed networking 

There will also be sector-specific networking events such as for property & construction; creatives & marketeers; start-ups and young businesses; techies & entrepreneurs.

Business advice

Attendees will have access to a hub of business support and advice provided by a variety of business support organisations. Drop in for some specific support for your business. Jelf's Bath office will have experts available at their stand, offering advice on anything from insurance to risk management or even employee benefits.
